6 Cylinder Engines

The SE 6-cylinder engine series from Steyr Motors are the most popular engines in the current lineup. 

With a market leading power-to-weight and an extremely compact design, the engines in this series are extremely well respected throughout the New Zealand leisure and commercial marine markets. 

Due to its excellent torque and speed range, the SE 6-cylinder series engines master all challenges with ease. The engine series is suited to a range of propulsion options including sterndrive, conventional gearbox and shaft drive, vee drive, waterjet and sail drive.

4 Cylinder Engines

Based on the proven and trusted 4-cylinder Monoblock concept, unique to Steyr Motors, the SE 4-cylinder engine series has been further enhanced and specifically designed for more torque at lower speed.

The engine is especially suited for installation with sterndrives, but also allows other propulsion drive systems such as shaft and sail-drive configurations.

The SE 4-cylinder series also features the outstanding power-to-weight ratio already well proven from the MO series as well as excellent operational safety, robustness and long service life.
